French Toast

French Toast Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter (approximately 5 pats)
  • 5 slices bread

Directions

  1. Beat eggs and milk in a shallow baking dish. Dish should be large enough to lay a slice of bread down.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Beat until combined.
  3. Heat skillet to medium heat. Melt a pat of butter in skillet.
  4. Lay a slice of bread in the egg mixture, turning over to make sure it is covered in egg mixture.
  5. Place bread in skillet. Cook each side until browned.
  6. Use another pat of butter for each slice of bread. There should be enough egg mixture for 5-6 slices of bread.
  7. Serve half of the French toast with additional butter, sprinkle sugar on top until desired sweetness.
  8. Save half of the French toast in the refrigerator for future breakfast
