Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter (approximately 5 pats)
- 5 slices bread
Directions
- Beat eggs and milk in a shallow baking dish. Dish should be large enough to lay a slice of bread down.
- Add 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Beat until combined.
- Heat skillet to medium heat. Melt a pat of butter in skillet.
- Lay a slice of bread in the egg mixture, turning over to make sure it is covered in egg mixture.
- Place bread in skillet. Cook each side until browned.
- Use another pat of butter for each slice of bread. There should be enough egg mixture for 5-6 slices of bread.
- Serve half of the French toast with additional butter, sprinkle sugar on top until desired sweetness.
- Save half of the French toast in the refrigerator for future breakfast
