Corn Chowder Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 russet potato, diced
  • 1 onion, diced small
  • 2 cup water
  • 12 oz milk
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Shredded cheese (garnish)

Directions

  1. In a large pot, add 2 cups water, bring to a boil
  2. Add the potatoes, onion, and butter. Heat to a boil and simmer for 10 -15 minutes.
  3. Drain about half of the water
  4. Add milk, garlic, and corn. Heat for 4 minutes.
  5. (extra) Serve with cheddar cheese if using.

Serving size: 1 ½ cups of chowder
