Ingredients:
- 4 cups oatmeal
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl or gallon bag
- Serving size is ½ cup (I usually do 1/3 cup to make it last longer)
- Add hot (boiling) water and cover for 5 minutes
- Optional: Serve with half a banana (sliced)


Notes:
My favorite version of this recipe adds 1/4 cup crasins, 1/4 cup dried apricots, and 2 tablespoons of almond slices. These will raise the price substantially, but it’s delicious.
